Clean Bill of Health for Nistru River After Bender Leak Scare
The National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) has initiated its own investigation following reports of a sewage leak from the pumping station in Bender, Moldova.
The leak may have contaminated the Nistru River.
ANSP officials collected water samples from nearby locations, including Talmaza, Cioburci, Răscăeții-Noi, Olănești, Tudora, and Palanca. Test results confirm that all samples meet quality standards. The press release from ANSP further clarifies that no negative impacts related to the reported sewage leak were found in water samples collected over the past few weeks.
