The greatest pizza made by Americans. How many tons of ingredients did they use
The Americans want to set a new world record in the field of gastronomy by preparing the largest pizza in the world weighing more than 12 tons.
6,200 kg of dough, 2,245 litres of tomato sauce, 4,000 kg of cheese and approximately 635,530 pieces of pepperoni were used to make the pizza.
Pizza is 3,809 square metres and is displayed on the floor of an exhibition centre in Los Angeles.
Following approval by the Book of Records, the 68,000 slices will be distributed to local food banks.
