The Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, is hosting the third meeting of the Republic of Moldova-Romania-Ukraine Trilateral at the level of foreign ministers in Chisinau on Friday.

The first edition took place in Odessa and focused on energy security issues in the midst of the crisis generated by Russia's military aggression in Ukraine. The second edition of the trilateral took place last year in Bucharest and focused on regional security issues, with the participation of the defense ministers from the three states.

Demining operations: Grenades and bombs from the World War II, defused in 9 districts

National Army engineers intervened 15 times in September to neutralize dangerous explosives, detected in several districts of the Republic of Moldova. In all, 38 munitions from the World War II were discovered and destroyed under maximum security conditions in the districts of Ungheni, Ialoveni, Leova, Ștefan Vodă, Căușeni, Anenii Noi, Ocnita, Străseni and Criuleni, informs the Ministry of Defense.

European deputy Siegfried Muresan was re-elected, today, as president of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Republic of Moldova. He said that he would defend the interests of the Republic of Moldova and its citizens in the European Parliament, as he has done for the past 10 years. Siegfried Muresan is, today, on an official visit to Chisinau.

Next week, the European Parliament will debate the European path of the Republic of Moldova and adopt a Resolution in support of European integration. This was announced by MEP Siegfried Mureșan, during a press conference in Chisinau.
