Strong explosion in a club in Paris, caused by an electric scooter. Three people injured

Three people were injured, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, at the Pachamama Club-restaurant, in Paris, on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, near the Place de la Bastille. An electric scooter battery exploded and caused part of a wall to collapse, AFP said, citing police and fire service sources. The explosion occurred on the fourth floor, the top floor of the building, where the scooter battery was stored.

The club's manager told the daily Le Parisien that pieces of plaster broke the railing of the ground floor. As a result, pieces of railing injured several people inside the club.

According to the source, almost 140 people were there at the time of the explosion.

Following the incident, three people were transported to the hospital.

The owner of the scooter is to be questioned.
