Canada could lend Moldova 120 million dollars for refugees and green energy

The Republic of Moldova could benefit from a loan of 120 million Canadian dollars, granted by the Government of Canada. The members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration approved the advisory opinion on the initiation of negotiations of an agreement in this regard.

The money will be directed to finance the needs of the state budget. Specifically, they will be used to strengthen the resilience of refugees and households, and for the transition to green energy.

The loan will be provided to our country for a period of ten years.

After the signing of the document, the Parliament will examine the ratification draft.
