Border Police: 17 foreigners were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova

In the last 24 hours, 17 foreigners were refused entry to the Republic of Moldova, the Border Police informs.

Regarding the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 18,153 crossings were recorded, of which 9,183 were in the direction of entry into the Republic of Moldova. Also, 4,025 constituted the crossings of Ukrainian minors.

According to the Border Police, 75 illegal crossings of the state border were registered.

The most requested border was with Romania - 33,842 crossings, 18,399 crossings were reported at the Moldovan - Ukrainian border and another 15,687 crossings -by plane.

Travellers are urged, before setting off, to consult the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717) or check the situation at the crossing points online (http://border.gov.md/camere-web).
