Children's hospital in Kiev, partially reopened after bombings. The full reconstruction will take six months
The children's hospital in Kiev, which was bombed by the Russian military a week ago, has been partially reopened. However, the full restoration of the building will take at least six months, hospital director Volodymyr Jovnir told Ukrainian media.
The leader of Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that about nine million dollars will be allocated for the reconstruction of the building. On Monday, several people brought flowers and toys to that place.
We remind you that over 40 people were killed in the Russian attack on the largest children's hospital in Ukraine, which caused the destruction of the toxicology department.
Hundreds of rescuers and volunteers joined the effort to clear the debris and to search for survivors.
