The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) says the approved tariff implicitly covers the cost of the electricity consumed. Moreover, according to ANRE, at the beginning of 2023, "Apă-Canal Chisinau" would even have additional revenues of 42.5 million lei, obtained from savings on electricity consumed, in the context of the gradual decrease, in 2019-2021, of electricity prices.

"Apă-Canal Chișinău" owes over 73 million lei to Premier Energy. Premier Energy has given the company five days to settle the debt, after which it will be cut off from electricity.
