Snow and ice yellow warning across the country. Rescuers' recommendations
For the next 24 hours, the State Hydrometeorological Service forecasts heavy precipitation in the form of snow, mainly in the south of the country. In some areas, there will also be sleet and ice on the roads.
The rescue services and patrol officers urge drivers and pedestrians to be careful in traffic. Vehicles must be equipped for the cold season: shovels and sandbags should be in the boot, and snow chains may be needed.
The IGSU recommends that the phone battery be permanently charged and that people should only start driving after they wear warm winter clothes.
