Moldova Gets €26M for Green Social Housing

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is providing Moldova with €26 million (€6 million grant, €20 million loan) to fund the construction or renovation of energy-efficient social housing, student dormitories, and nursing homes.

The project also aims to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Moldova will contribute €7.3 million (financial: €1.1 million, non-financial: €6.2 million) to the initiative.

The "Public Housing III" project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2029.
