Bolea's Spain Visit: Boosting Agricultural Ties and Innovation
Moldovan Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea is on a working visit to Spain from July 22-24.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new opportunities for collaboration in the agricultural sector.
During his time in Madrid, Minister Bolea met with his Spanish counterpart, Luis Planas Puchades.
The discussions focused on the import of breeding sheep specialised for milk production and the adoption of advanced technologies for intensive sheep farming. This initiative seeks to enhance the productivity and quality of milk production in Moldova.
Another significant topic was Spain's investments in irrigation. Officials highlighted the importance of irrigation improvement programs as essential for addressing climate challenges.
Additionally, the ministers discussed cooperation models between Spanish farmers and policies promoting the formation of cooperatives and producer associations to stimulate the development of the agricultural sector.
The visit underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing agricultural development through strategic partnerships and the exchange of best practices.
