Moldova University Admissions: Over 11,000 Applications Received
In the first five days of admissions to higher education institutions in the Republic of Moldova, over 11,000 candidates have submitted applications for undergraduate studies through the platform eadmitere.gov.md, as announced by the Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun.
He noted that occasional difficulties have been encountered on the eadmitere.gov.md platform, but these issues are being addressed. Dan Perciun urges individuals who experienced registration problems to notify the ministry about these issues.
"Last year, approximately 14,000 students were enrolled across all universities in the Republic of Moldova. This year’s admission process looks promising, with 11,043 applications already submitted. We hope to see continued growth by the first round’s deadline on the 31st and anticipate a successful admission cycle. Those who do not secure a government-funded place in the first round will have the opportunity to explore remaining funded spots at the end of the first round during the second admission round and select specialties where they can still benefit from government funding," explained Dan Perciun.
Remember: Universities in the Republic of Moldova will offer approximately 9,000 government-funded places this year for undergraduate, master’s, residency, and clinical secondary education programs. The results will be announced on August 2 and August 16. Candidates admitted to one or more programs will make their selection and submit original documents to the university where they wish to continue their studies. Final results will be posted on August 9 for the main session and on August 20 for the supplementary session.
For master’s or doctoral programs, admission documents must be submitted in person to the university.
