Eight foreign citizens, expelled from the Republic of Moldova for a week

Eight foreign citizens, from India and Pakistan, were expelled from the territory of the Republic of Moldova between January 23-29, 2023. According to the Migration and Asylum Bureau, they were allegedly expelled after they were discovered to be illegal.

At the same time, during the current week, nine foreigners who violated the residence regime on the territory of the Republic of Moldova were taken into public custody. Thus, at the moment, the Center for Temporary Placement of Foreigners hosts 17 foreign citizens.
