Another medal at the Paris Olympics! Serghei Tarnovschi won the "bronze"

Moldovan canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi won the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. The 27-year-old athlete won his second Olympic medal, after the "bronze" in Tokyo.

Tarnovschi covered the distance in 3:44.68.

The Brazilian Isaquias Queiroz ranked second, and the Czech Martin Fuksa became the Olympic champion.

Serghei Tarnovschi's record includes: Youth Olympic Games - gold medal in 2014, World Championships - "bronze" in 2015 (1000 meters), "gold" in 2022 (5000 m) and bronze in 2023 (500 m), European Championships – "gold" in 2024 (500 m), silver in 2016 (1000 m), 2021 (500 m) and 2022 (500 m) and "bronze" in 2024 (1000 m), World Cup - bronze in 2015 and 2024, 4 gold and 2 silver medals in 2016, "gold" (500m), "silver" (500m double canoe and 500m mixed canoe) in 2021 and "bronze" in 2023 (500m), "bronze" at the European Games in Krakow in 2023 (500 m). World University Championship: 3 gold medals in 2022, World Super Cup – 2 gold medals in 2022.
