PM of the Kingdom of Denmark pays a visit to the Republic of Moldova

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, arrives tomorrow for a short visit to Chisinau. The announcement has been made by Moldovan Presidency.

The Danish head of government plans to meet with President Maia Sandu. Afterwards, the officials are scheduled to hold a press conference.

The Danish Prime Minister will come to our country after a visit to Ukraine. She also met with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski in Nikolaev. Mette Frederiksen pledged her cabinet's support for the reconstruction of southern Ukraine.

Families with children with severe disabilities will get financial assistance

Children with severe disabilities in our country will benefit from a new support package developed with the help of the development partners of the Republic of Moldova. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, over 5,500 families will benefit from this program, each of whom will receive a one-off allowance of 3,000 lei. The measure comes as essential support for these families, underlining the authorities' commitment to improving the living conditions of people with disabilities. However, for some families this amount is not enough to cover the costs of caring for children with disabilities.
