CEC registers Natalia Morari's presidential initiative group

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has registered an initiative group to collect signatures in support of Natalia Morari, a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, who was nominated by a group of citizens.

This decision was made at the meeting held on August 27.

At the same meeting, the CEC appointed the leader of the initiative group and the financial officer. In July, Morari declared her intention to run as an independent candidate in the presidential elections, aiming to transform the Republic of Moldova into a "new economic miracle."

The deadline for submitting registration documents for initiative groups supporting candidates in the presidential elections is Saturday, August 31.
