Vice Prime Minister Popșoi discusses Russia's threats at GLOBSEC

Vice Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, who also serves as Moldova's Minister of Foreign Affairs, will attend the 19th GLOBSEC Forum in Prague from August 30 to September 1.

The forum is being hosted by Czech President Petr Pavel.

During the event, Popșoi will speak on a panel titled "Countering Russia's Hybrid Threats," representing the Republic of Moldova.

Additionally, Mihai Popșoi will hold meetings with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský and other international counterparts attending the GLOBSEC Forum. He will also engage with Moldovan citizens residing in the Czech Republic.

GLOBSEC is a prominent Central European forum dedicated to foreign policy and security. Established in 2005, it annually convenes decision-makers, experts, and opinion leaders from political, military, business, and media sectors. GLOBSEC aims to serve as a long-term international platform that emphasises Central Europe's role in transatlantic strategic discussions and contributes to shaping the transatlantic agenda on security, foreign policy, and economic matters.

This year’s 19th edition of the forum will commemorate two decades of EU membership for several Central and Eastern European countries, alongside the 20th and 25th anniversaries of their NATO membership.
