Romanian President Iohannis and Maia Sandu to discuss cooperation
The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, is scheduled to visit the Republic of Moldova on Saturday, which coincides with the National Day of the Romanian Language.
During this official visit, he will be received at the Presidential Palace by President Maia Sandu. Discussions between the two leaders will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation, according to the presidential office in Chișinău.
Later, at 12:05 PM, Maia Sandu and Klaus Iohannis will hold a joint press conference to address the bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening the resilience of the Republic of Moldova.
Following the press briefing, the officials will visit the Alley of Classics in the "Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt" Public Garden. There, they will lay flowers at the bust of the poet Mihai Eminescu to honour his significant contribution to the shared cultural heritage of both nations.
