CEC approves the model and text of the ballot paper in the constitutional republican referendum
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved, during the meeting on September 10, the model and text of the ballot paper for the republican constitutional referendum of October 20, 2024. The length of the ballot paper is 330 mm and the width is 160 mm.
The color of the ballot paper will be purple. At the request of the electoral bodies in the respective constituencies, the ballot papers, drawn up in Romanian, will be translated into another language, in order to facilitate the participation of ethnic minorities in the polls.
Under the decision, the ballot contains the draft law to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova.
At the bottom, the question "Do you support the amendment of the Constitution for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union?" will be written on the left. To the right of the text of the question, two squares with the words "YES" and "NO" will be printed horizontally, and below them - two circles in which the voter will apply the stamp "Voted".
