Japan finances three wastewater treatment systems in Andrușul de Jos. The investment amounts to over 97 thousand dollars
Three wastewater treatment systems will be installed in Andrusul de Jos village in Cahul district, the Japanese ambassador to Chisinau, Yamada Yoichiro, said today. According to him, the project is worth over 97 thousand dollars, and the money will be provided by the Government of Tokyo. The Japanese diplomat also emphasized that these systems will maintain a clean environment in the locality, and the water from the wells will not be polluted.
"We signed the decision to offer this grant for the installation of three wastewater treatment systems in the village of Andrușul de Jos in the district of Cahul. A school, a kindergarten and a cultural center in this locality will be connected to this system. The project is necessary to improve the environment" Yamada Yoichiro said.
We remind that this is the 6th project financially supported by the "Kusanone" Human Security Grant Program this year.
From 2008 until now, the Government of Japan has offered the Republic of Moldova more than 7.4 million dollars. The money was used in 90 projects to modernize hospitals, town halls and educational institutions.
