The Parliament starts the first plenary session of the autumn session 2024. Several topics were included on the agenda, including support measures for farmers affected by this year's drought.
Also, the Parliament is to ratify an amendment to the Financing Agreement with the International Development Association regarding the support of higher education.
Deputies will also examine a project to amend the Education Code, to integrate artistic education into the general education system, as well as to amend the decision on the establishment of the Special Commission to identify measures to overcome the crisis in the agricultural field.
The draft amendment to the Parliament's Decision on the establishment of the Special Commission to identify measures to overcome the crisis in the agricultural field, the draft on the declaration of the vacancy of a member of Parliament and the draft on the import of means of transport will also be examined.
The autumn session of the Parliament starts in September and ends in December.
