The Bucharest Chamber of Deputies adopted today the draft law on the cooperation agreement between Romania and the Republic of Moldova in the military field, reports Rador.
Under the document, the two states will support each other in terms of preparation and participation in multinational missions and operations under the auspices of the UN, OSCE, NATO or the European Union.
The agreement was ratified at a time when the Republic of Moldova is preparing to participate with soldiers in the European Union operation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, EUFOR, Althea, as part of the Romanian contingent.
The normative act will be sent to the Senate, for the decisional vote.
