At least three people were killed and 20 others injured after a rocket hit an apartment building in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine, regional authorities said on Wednesday. According to the latest data, cited by Unian, at least eight residential blocks were damaged by the impact, one of them being completely destroyed.

"The enemy attack happened at 21:45. The search and rescue operation is ongoing. The police are documenting the impact of this war crime. 11 investigative teams, explosives experts, dog handlers, medics, patrol police and other units are working at the scene," the authorities report said. “In the house one entrance was completely destroyed, the other two entrances survived, if I may say so... Windows were broken, the roof and the entrance were damaged. Next to this house there were also eight damaged houses, windows and doors were knocked out, roofs were destroyed. The inspection will take place in the morning," said the head of Donetsk regional administration Pavel Kirilenko. A preliminary investigation was opened on this case for violation of the laws of war.
