CEC registers two candidates in the presidential elections and three participants in the referendum
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved the registration of two candidates for the presidential elections: Andrei Năstase, nominated by a group of citizens and Octavian Țîcu, nominated by the "IMPREUNA" electoral bloc.
Thus, eight candidates have been registered so far, and four other files are under examination.
Also, the following political formations were registered as participants in the referendum:
• "NOI" Political Party, with the "YES" option; • The "ACASA" National Reunification Political Party, with the "YES" option; • European Social Democratic Political Party, with the "YES" option.
The request submitted by the Political Party "VICTORIE" was rejected by the CEC, and the request submitted by the Political Party "VOINTA POPORULUI" did not meet the required number of votes to be approved.
