Last candidates for the seat of president, registered

The last candidates nominated for the October 20 presidential election have been registered by the Central Electoral Commission. It is about Victoria Furtună, Natalia Morari and Tudor Ulianovschi. Thus, there will be 11 candidates in the ballot paper for the elections for the position of president of the Republic of Moldova.

In the same context, the CEC registered the candidates' electoral symbols for printing in the presidential election ballot, the candidates' representatives in the Central Electoral Commission and confirmed the persons responsible for finances (treasurer).

Also today, the CEC rejected the registration request of Igor Munteanu, designated by the Political Party Coalition for Unity and Welfare, because the legal provisions related to the validity conditions regarding the minimum required number of supporters' signatures were not respected.
