Who is Natalia Morari

Natalia Morari invited in May the leaders of several opposition parties to a discussion table about a possible common candidate for the presidential elections. She said then that identifying a single candidate, politically unaffiliated, but supported by the entire opposition, would be the best strategy for the presidential campaign. However, shortly after, some parties participating in the discussion announced their candidates.

We remind you that, in 2021, Natalia Morari announced that she was retiring from the TV8 television station, where she was a co-founder, after the relationship she has with the controversial businessman Veaceslav Platon, convicted and accused in criminal cases related to of bank fraud and who fled the Republic of Moldova, after the parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021.

After she was expelled from the Russian Federation, in 2007, following journalistic investigations in which she described corruption and money laundering schemes targeting people from Russian President Vladimir Putin's entourage, Natalia Morari began to get involved civically in the Republic of Moldova, where he also founded an NGO. She would have played a key role in organizing the anti-government protests of April 2009 in Chisinau, which degenerated into riots.

In 2018, Natalia Morari was included in the database of the platform myrotvorets.center, established by the Research Center of Crimes against the National Security of Ukraine, where she is presented as an agent of Russian special services. This information was rejected by Morari.
