Students and pupils with the right to vote can vote at any polling station in the locality where they study
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announces that students and pupils with the right to vote, who do not have home registration or temporary residence in the locality where they are studying, can vote on October 20, 2024 at any polling station open in that locality. To exercise their right to vote, they must present their identity document and the student card of the educational institution.
CEC mentions that these voters will be included in the additional electoral list. The measure supports young voters to facilitate their participation in the republican constitutional referendum and the elections for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova.
We remind that starting today, October 7, voters can request a mobile ballot box to vote in the republican constitutional referendum and the presidential elections on October 20.
