Ursula von der Leyen is coming to Chisinau this week

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will visit the Republic of Moldova on Thursday, October 10. According to journalists from Brussels, the President of the Commission could announce a new financing instrument for our country.

It would be about the reform and growth mechanism, open so far to the candidate countries of the Western Balkans, a fund of six billion euros for the next three years.

However, it is not clear how much money will be allocated to the Republic of Moldova. It will be the first visit to our country by the President of the European Commission, after she was re-elected to this position.
