Wrestler Anastasia Nichita has triumphed at the Zagreb Open international tournament. Tudor Cîrlan's trainee won four times in the 59 kg weight category, with Azerbaijan's Alyona Kolesnik, Japan's Yui Sakano and Hungarian representatives Viktoria Borsos and Nikolett Szabo.
Irina Rîngaci (68 kg) got the bronze medal. In the semi-finals she lost to Frenchwoman Koumba Larroque and in the final match she defeated American Solin Piearcy.
In Greco-Roman wrestling, Alexandrin Gutu made it to the final but lost narrowly to Iranian Mohammadali Geraei.
