Voters urged to verify identity documents for elections
Provisional identity documents are issued upon the request of citizens aged 18 and older, specifically on election day. The multifunctional centres of the Public Services Agency (ASP) will be open on Sunday, October 20, following a special work schedule from 07:00 to 21:00.
Voters are urged to verify the validity of their identity documents. To obtain identity documents, applicants may visit any multifunctional centre of the Public Services Agency, regardless of their registered or temporary residence, or contact the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Moldova while abroad.

It should be noted that to vote in the presidential elections of the Republic of Moldova and the constitutional referendum on October 20, voters must present one of the following identity documents:
The identity card of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, confirming the voter's domicile or temporary residence within the polling station area;
The provisional identity card, which includes details about the holder's citizenship in the Republic of Moldova and their domicile or temporary residence;
The passport of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, even if it has expired.
