Pululu double sinks Petrocub in 2-0 defeat
The Moldovan champions suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Jagellonia Białystok. Petrocub managed to hold the Polish champions at bay for over a half, but ultimately succumbed to two late goals.
The home side scored twice in a three-minute span, with Afimico Pululu proving to be Petrocub's downfall. The English forward opened the scoring in the 69th minute with a superb backheel finish. Pululu then doubled his tally, sealing the final scoreline at 2-0.
This victory marks Jagellonia's second consecutive win in the Conference League group stage. For Petrocub, it was their second defeat, having been comprehensively beaten 4-1 at home by Cypriot side Pafos in the opening round.
Petrocub Hâncești's next match in this stage of the competition will be on November 7th. They will face Rapid Vienna at home. The match will be played at Zimbru Stadium, kicking off at 7:45 PM.
