Civil Aeronautical Authority reveals new details about the plane crash in Vadul lui Vodă

In the small plane that crashed today on the territory of a rest base in the city of Vadul lui Vodă, there was only one person - the pilot - who lost his life as a result of the impact. The Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) announced that, for now, the identity of the pilot was not officially confirmed. A team of aeronautical investigators went to the scene to analyze the circumstances of the accident.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft involved in the incident is an ultra-light Socata TB20, registered in Germany with the number D-EMRT. The pilot was alone on board at the time of the crash. After impact with the ground, the aircraft was quickly engulfed in flames. The intervention teams arrived at the scene and managed to put out the fire in a short time.

Unfortunately, a charred body was identified inside the wreckage, but its identity has not yet been officially confirmed, AAC announces.

The investigation into the causes of the accident has already been started by the competent authorities, including the Transport Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau, which will analyze aspects related to the aircraft involved, weather conditions and possible technical problems. Additional details will be publicly communicated as the investigation progresses, informs the Authority.

We remind you that the small plane crashed on the roof of a building located on the territory of the "Speranța" rest base in the city of Vadul lui Vodă. After the impact, the aircraft caught fire. Four crews of rescuers and firefighters intervened at the emergency scene.
