Sheriff Tiraspol crushes Milsami in Superliga clash
Sheriff Tiraspol has once again proven its dominance in the Moldovan Superliga, securing a resounding 4-0 victory over Milsami Orhei on the road in a match from the 12th round of the competition.
Vladimir Mamuciașvili opened the scoring in the 38th minute at Orhei. The hosts' situation worsened before halftime when goalkeeper Mihail Cioban made a costly error. In an attempt to prevent Cyrille Bayala from scoring into an open goal, Cioban fouled him and was subsequently sent off by the referee.
Sheriff left no doubt about securing all three points in the second half. Alesio Mija made it 2-0, Cyrille Bayala added a third goal, and late on, Jocelin Behiratche found the net to complete the rout.
With 32 points, Sheriff Tiraspol has secured first place in the standings at the end of the first phase of the championship. Milsami sits in fourth place.
