MAP // How voters in each district voted in the presidential runoff
According to the preliminary results provided by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), after processing all the minutes from the polling stations in the Republic of Moldova, Alexandr Stoianoglo scored 51.19% of the votes, and Maia Sandu - 48.81%. The north and south of the country voted for the PSRM candidate, and the center - for the PAS candidate.
Regional distribution of votes
The analysis of the vote by region shows considerable support for Alexandr Stoianoglo in the north and south of the country. The districts of Briceni, Ocnița, Edineț, Dondușeni, Rîșcani, Drochia, Soroca, Glodeni, Balti, Florești, Soldănești, Fălești, Sîngerei, Dubăsari, Cahul, Taraclia, UTA Găgăuzia, Basarabeasca and the Transnistrian region have mostly opted for the PSRM candidate, Alexandr Stoianoglo.
On the other hand, Maia Sandu obtained the majority in the center of the country, in the districts of Rezina, Telenești, Ungheni, Călărași, Orhei, Nisporeni, Străseni, Criuleni, Hîncești, Ialoveni, Anenii Noi, Leova, Cantemir, Cimișlia, Causeni and Ștefan Vodă, where the pro-European option was predominant.
