Cities affected included Bologna, Paris (Montreuil), Marseille, Liverpool, Northampton, Bucharest, Brasov, Minsk, Madrid, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Kaiserslautern.

Angelica Caraman, President of the Central Electoral Commission, noted that this is the first time in the history of the elections in the Republic of Moldova that such incidents occurred at polling stations abroad.

Fortunately, the bomb threats proved to be false and the polling stations continued to activate, except for the polling station in Liverpool, which was relocated to Manchester.
