Moldova digitises: New feature for easy appointments
Moldova's government has launched a new feature within its integrated application, EVO, to streamline public services. The "Appointment Scheduling" module allows citizens to book appointments online for various services, eliminating the need for in-person visits.
This innovation aims to improve efficiency and convenience for citizens, particularly in accessing services from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Archives Agency, and the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.
By leveraging this feature, citizens can save valuable time and effort while accessing essential public services. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, emphasised the significance of this innovation: "This module represents a significant step forward in our efforts to simplify citizens' interactions with the state. By introducing this user-friendly feature, we aim to redefine the way citizens engage with public services, empowering them to manage their affairs efficiently and conveniently."
EVO, launched on June 6, 2024, offers a comprehensive suite of digital services, including access to digital documents, citizen and business information, online payments, and now, appointment scheduling. To unlock the full potential of EVO, citizens must possess an electronic signature.
