Moldovan man found dead after disappearance in Italy
A 48-year-old Moldovan man who disappeared after leaving his home in the province of Padua, Italy, has been found dead, according to padovaoggi.it.
The man left his home in the municipality of Ponte San Nicolo on November 7, and it was his family who notified the authorities about his disappearance.
Since Friday morning, divers and a helicopter have been monitoring the area around the Bacchiglione River. It was revealed that the man had left on foot, suggesting he had not strayed far from his residence.
Search efforts were intense, aiming to find him as quickly as possible and ensure his safety, according to the Italian press. However, after extensive searches, the Moldovan man was found dead in a building not far from his home.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the man may have taken his own life. The circumstances of this case are still under investigation.
