Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi leaves for Japan: Economic cooperation, on the agenda

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will pay a working visit to Japan on November 12-13. In Tokyo, the Moldovan official will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Takeshi Iwaya, to discuss ways to deepen bilateral and multilateral dialogue, as well as boosting economic cooperation.

The visit's agenda will also include meetings with the leaders of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, and representatives of the Japan Association of Corporate Directors Keizai Doyukai.

Discussions during the meetings will be focused on Japanese assistance for the development of the Republic of Moldova, business opportunities in our state for Japanese investors, as well as the intensification of inter-parliamentary collaboration.

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will meet with the members of the Moldovan community settled in Japan.
