"Kindness costs us nothing, but its impact is exceptional," he stated during the "Good Morning" program on Moldova 1.

"We must differentiate between doing good and being good. Being good means staying true to yourself, consistently radiating kindness. Doing good, on the other hand, may occur occasionally or at least systematically. This good must be done through the lens of love. When you do good, when you give something to someone, you shouldn't focus on how much you've given. Instead, think about how much more you could give to make someone happy," Viorel Cojocaru emphasised.

Additionally, Father Cojocaru affirmed that doing good also involves encouraging and supporting those who are suffering: "Today, in our society, we face an epidemic of anxiety and depression. I believe it is much more helpful for someone who is depressed to be encouraged, to have someone beside them during this time, to show them the light at the end of the tunnel, and to help them find their way out of the darkness they've entered."

In the same program, Father Cojocaru pointed out that kindness begins in kindergarten, but the most important institution remains the family. "If kindness is demonstrated within the family, with children involved, or if the family receives and gives thanks, and again the children participate and witness this — this is education. Many churches have the tendency, and we applaud this trend, to have Sunday schools," he added.

It is worth noting that World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on November 13, following the initiative of the first global conference of the Kindness Movement, held in Tokyo in 1998. The conference also adopted the Declaration of Kindness.
