LIVE // Cell phones banned during classes: Draft law on Education Code to be discussed

The use of mobile phones in schools during school hours will be prohibited by law. The draft law amending the Education Code is set to be examined today, November 20, at the Government meeting. The aim of this legislation is to help students remain more attentive and focused in class.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers will approve several other important projects during this meeting. Among them is the draft law for the ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Italy regarding social security, which was signed in Rome on October 31.

The Cabinet will also make amendments to the State Budget Law for 2024, as well as the State Social Insurance Budget Law for the current year.
