Snowfall and icy roads disrupt northern Moldova's traffic
It has been snowing for the second consecutive day in several districts in the northern part of the country.
Due to icy conditions, several trucks are stationed on the roadside in the village of Șaptebani, located in the Rîșcani district.
Police officers are patrolling the roads and affirm they are prepared to assist drivers if needed.
In light of the weather conditions, the General Police Inspectorate advises both drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution while on the road.
Meteorologists have forecast ground frost during Thursday night into Friday morning, with temperatures ranging from -1 to -4 degrees Celsius nationwide.
