Ukraine will receive new financial aid from World Bank
Ukraine will soon receive $4.8 billion from the World Bank for social and humanitarian purposes, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced on Friday.
The government has taken the necessary steps to secure the aid package financed by the United States and its partners, as stated by Shmyhal on his Telegram channel.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022, Ukraine has received over $100 billion in external financing.
This aid is primarily used to support Ukraine's budget, including the salaries of civil servants and teachers, with a significant portion provided in the form of loans.
