EXIT-POLL presidential elections in Romania// Marcel Ciolacu and Elena Lasconi, in the second round
The two finalists of the first round of the presidential elections on November 24, 2024 are Marcel Ciolacu (PSD) and Elena Lasconi (USR), shows a CIRA-AVANGARDE-INSOMAR poll, conducted when voters left the polls, at 7:00 p.m. The poll was conducted only on Romanian territory and does not include the diaspora, reports news.ro.
According to the poll conducted by CIRA-AVANGARDE-INSOMAR, Marcel Ciolacu (PSD) received the votes of 25% of the electorate in the country, followed by Elena Lasconi (USR), with 18%.
Independent Călin Georgescu scored 16% of the votes, closely followed by George Simion (AUR), with 15% of the electorate's votes.
At around 9:15 p.m., over 9,442,900 voters had voted in the elections for the President of Romania, according to the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), representing 52.43%, a percentage that also includes over 801,000 Romanian voters abroad.
