US Undersecretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and Environment visits Chisinau
The US Department of State's Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment, Jose W. Fernandez, is to visit Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, from 8-10 February, the US Embassy in the Republic of Moldova reports.
Under Secretary Fernandez will meet with senior government officials to discuss Moldova's handling of the energy crisis, rising inflation and the negative economic impact of Russia's war against Ukraine, as well as the potential for trade and investment between our countries, Moldova's European integration and energy security, according to the agenda.
The US official is also to chair a round table with the participation of members of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova.
