Moldovan military joins Romania’s National Day parade
On Romania's National Day, observed on December 1st, a contingent from the National Army will participate in the military parade in Bucharest.
According to the Ministry of Defense, this year, the formation comprises the Flag Bearer Group, represented by soldiers from the Honor Guard Company, followed by the peacekeeping contingent of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion "Blue Helmets," commanded by Major Lieutenant Cristina Dolgoruc.
The 30 Moldovan officers, soldiers, and sergeants will parade in Arch of Triumph Square in Bucharest alongside Romanian military personnel and foreign contingents from detachments stationed in Romania. The troops undergo daily training at the Ghencea firing range.
It should be noted that the military of our country has participated in the Bucharest military parade since 2014.
