Parliamentary elections in Romania // Seven parties enter the Parliament of Bucharest
After processing 100% of the votes, the preliminary results of the Romanian parliamentary elections show that seven parties will enter the Bucharest Parliament. The Social Democratic Party scored the most votes, followed by the Alliance for the Unity of Romanians, the National Liberal Party and the Save Romania Union.
The party led by Diana Șoșoacă, SOS Romania, is entering Parliament for the first time. The Young People's Party, which is led by a former AUR member, Anamaria Gavrilă, and which supports Călin Georgescu, is in the same situation. The Hungarian Democratic Union will also enter the new Bucharest Legislative.
We remind that the elections recorded a turnout of over 52 percent, - the highest in the last 20 years, and the surprise is that three sovereignist, far-right parties enter Parliament - this considering that four years ago only one party entered the Parliament.
The formation of alliances is next, and the main question is who will form the new government and what it will look like.
