Moldova advances EU integration despite hybrid threats, Sandu says
The future of the Republic of Moldova is in the European Union, stated European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas after meeting with the Moldova's President, Maia Sandu.
On this occasion, the European official commended "the courage of the Republic of Moldova in confronting external challenges and Russia’s hostile interference in its democracy."
In turn, the head of state posted on X that the European Union supports Moldova's modernization and resilience against regional challenges: "We discussed Moldova moving forward on the EU path despite hybrid threats and foreign interference. We also reviewed the EU’s continued support for Moldova’s modernisation and resilience in the face of regional challenges."

Notably, President Maia Sandu undertook a working visit to Brussels on December 10–11, during which she met with several European officials, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
