The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, declared today at the Council of the European Union that he has information that Russia intends to take control of the Republic of Moldova. Zelenski said he spoke with Moldovan President Maia Sandu and informed her of Moscow's plan.

"I spoke to the president of the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Sandu, and informed her what our spying managed to find out. It is a Russian plan to destroy the political situation in Moldova, a Russian document that shows who, when and how they want to destroy the Republic of Moldova, who wants to change the democratic order and to establish control over the country," Volodymyr Zelenskiy said at the Council of the European Union .

Zelenski stated that the Ukrainian special services managed to obtain a document that contains the Russian plan towards the Republic of Moldova. Also, the Ukrainian leader said that he does not know whether Moscow has decided to resort to the implementation of this plan.
