Hundreds of people participated in the Christmas Marathon organized in Chisinau

Hundreds of children and adults took part today in the Christmas Marathon held in the Great National Assembly Square. All participants received Santa Claus hats, and to further enhance the magic of the upcoming holidays, many came dressed in unicorn, elf, or Santa Claus costumes.

Cristian participated in the marathon with his nine-year-old sister. He mentioned that he has taken part in other marathons and aims to set a good example for his younger sibling.

The Christmas Marathon attracted both casual enthusiasts and experienced athletes.

“This is my 25th competition this year, including events in Romania. Today, we came to defy the winter and the weather outside,” said one participant.

“It was extraordinary; I didn’t expect it to be so much fun. Both children and adults are participating, and I enjoyed it,” said another participant.

“It was beautiful and fun. I felt a great joy when I participated, especially when the start was given,” said people.

Some participants chose to stand out in the crowd and add a unique touch to the marathon by dressing as different animals, fairy tale characters, or Santa Claus.

“It’s very cheerful. There’s a general atmosphere of Christmas and winter holidays, just as the tradition goes. We dressed accordingly,” said one participant.

“It was very interesting for me, and I liked it, especially since it was my first time,” said another participant .
