Israel to open embassy in Chișinău in 2025

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) welcomes Israel's decision to establish an embassy in Chișinău.

According to the MFA, the event is planned for 2025, and the Republic of Moldova reiterates its commitment to supporting this initiative.

"This decision marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and the State of Israel, reflecting the strong friendship and excellent cooperation between our nations. The establishment of an Israeli embassy in Chișinău will contribute to broadening the political dialogue, strengthening economic and commercial ties, and supporting the Moldovan and Israeli communities in both nations," states the MFA.

Minister Mihai Popșoi was officially notified of this decision by his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Saar.

It is important to note that the Israeli government announced the opening of the embassy in the Republic of Moldova in a press release on December 15.
